2026 Old Beijing Jasmine Tea — 6-Scented, 100g × 2 Tins

The jasmine tea Beijing actually drinks. 🍵🖤

Six rounds of scenting  六窨, which means the tea leaf is layered with fresh jasmine blossoms and left overnight, six separate times, each round with new flowers. Most jasmine tea gets one or two passes. This gets six, which is why it smells the way it does straight out of the tin.

天花板 means ceiling as in, top of the category. This is the everyday jasmine tea against which every other one gets measured.

In the cup: intensely floral without tasting perfumed, a soft green base underneath, and a clean sweet finish. The kind of tea you drink all day without it ever going flat on you.

• 3g · 85–90°C · Gaiwan or glass
• First infusion: 30 seconds
• Add 10 seconds each round · 4–6 infusions
